Chicago Loop Alliance's Marketing Committee works to develop initiatives that promote the Loop as a premiere destination for people doing business, shopping, going to school, or sightseeing. Started in 2007, it has grown to encompass nearly 90 marketing professionals from Chicago, meeting bi-monthly to centralize promotional efforts behind CLA's programs and events, and maximize exposure to member businesses.
The committee was responsible for creating and implementing the marketing plan for Looptopia and developing the concept for Winter WonderLoop. More recently, the committee was charged with creating the name and brand behind the inaugural season of Lightscape: a Multisensory Experience on State Street.
