Chicago Loop Alliance’s 4th Annual Meeting was held on Thursday, January 22, 2009 in the Red Lacquer Room of the newly renovated and historic Palmer House Hilton. Hosted by ABC 7 News Anchor & Reporter Ron Magers, the event featured guest speakers Lori T. Healey, President of Chicago 2016 and Carol Coletta, CEO of CEO’s for Cities and the host & producer of the syndicated radio show Smart City.

Also featured during the event was the unveiling of the ‘Year of the Loop’ by CLA Executive Director Ty Tabing. The ‘Year of the Loop’ features several major developments including the completed renovation of the Palmer House Hilton, the completion of the mixed-use Block 37, the redeveloped Sullivan Center, the opening of theWit Hotel, the development & opening of Pritzker Park, and the historic opening of the Renzo Piano designed Modern Wing of the Art Institute of Chicago.
